Multiscale evaluation of tunnel construction safety risk: a case study of an offshore tunnel construction in Ningbo

Based on the WBS-RBS method, in this study, the risk factors corresponding to the construction risk events of an offshore tunnel foundation pit in Ningbo were identified, and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was used to evaluate the construction safety risk of the project. The system-level risk value was obtained by using the risk event deformation resulting from changes in two factors, namely, “mechanical property of soil” and “stiffness of the envelope structure”, to calculate the new event-level risk value corresponding to the deformation using a finite element numerical model. The findings indicate that the tunnel project has a risk evaluation score of 62.78 and thus falls within the category of high-risk projects. A change in risk factors will alter the likelihood that risk events will occur, which affects the safety risk status of the entire project. When two factors are coupled, a project’s system-level risk can increase dramatically.

Body awareness disturbances in patients with low back pain: a systematic review.

The pain-neuroscience literature has recently emphasized body perception or awareness. Impaired body perception results have been reported in many different chronic pain problems. Studies have reported that individuals with low back pain (LBP) also have body perception disturbances related to the lumbar spine. This review aimed to determine the evidence that body awareness alterations in individuals with LBP. Systematic review. Studies were searched in PubMed, Cochrane Library, and Pedro databases up to January 2021. Each database was searched independently, according to a specific iteration research string. The protocol record of the systematic review was entered into the PROSPERO system. Nine studies were included in this research. We found evidence to support more perceptual impairments in patients with LBP than healthy counterparts. In addition, the results of the studies showed an association between disrupted body awareness and pain severity, pain catastrophizing, and disability. Body perception disturbances in LBP seem to be a promising path that needs to be further explored, with the ultimate goal of developing treatment contents targeting body awareness as a more comprehensive and valid evaluation and therapeutic method. A Fuzzy Decision-Making Method for Green Design for Remanufacturability

Designs for remanufacturing (DfRem) consider the remanufacturability of the product in the early stages of product design, which can greatly increase the reusability of the products. However, product design schemes lack reasonable evaluation indicators for remanufacturability, and the decision-makers of the design scheme have subjective preferences and vague hesitation. These result in inaccurate decision making on DfRem schemes that will affect the successful implementation of product remanufacturing. In order to improve the accuracy of the DfRem scheme decision, a fuzzy decision-making method for green design for remanufacturability is proposed. Firstly, an evaluation indicator system for green design schemes was established that takes into account remanufacturability, reliability, cost, and the environment, and the entropy weighting method is used to quantify and weigh the design scheme evaluation indicators. Then, the hesitation fuzzy set is applied to construct the set of evaluations and the optimal design scheme is selected by applying the comprehensive evaluation method. Finally, the feasibility of the above method is verified by using the green design of an injection mold as an example, and the results show that the above method is able to make accurate and effective design scheme decisions. This method has been implemented in a prototype system using Visual Studio 2022 and Microsoft SQL Server2022. The results show that the fuzzy decision-making system is accurate and effective for rapidly generating a rational green design scheme for remanufacturability.

Research on Light Pollution Based on AHP and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Methods

 In the current context of increasing global light pollution, we urgently need an effective control system. In this study, we constructed an extensive and objective evaluation model through the AHP method to classify light pollution into standard and index layers, and successfully established an evaluation model that accurately predicts the level of light pollution. Through practical tests, we found that light pollution is higher in cities, followed by suburbs, and lower in rural areas and protected areas. Based on the established evaluation model, we propose three most effective intervention strategies: regulating the use of LED billboards, reducing the use of reflective building materials, and controlling nighttime construction lighting. In response to the possible negative impacts, we propose specific solutions and verify the effectiveness of the intervention programs through a multi-objective planning model, achieving significant results in reducing light pollution levels. This study provides a useful reference and lesson for light pollution management.

Satisfaction Analysis of Urban Rail Transit Based on the Personal Characteristics of Passengers

The influence of passenger gender, age, educational background, and other personal characteristics on satisfaction with an urban rail transit was studied. In total, 6340 valid questionnaires were completed, and basic data about the passengers were statistically analyzed. Based on AHP and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, 94.594 percent of passengers reported overall satisfaction with the Qingdao rail transit; the data for subgroups based on gender, age, and other aspects were also calculated. An independent samples t-test and one-way analysis of variance were used to analyze the correlations between passenger satisfaction and the following parameters: gender, age, education, occupation, income, ride frequency, and private car availability. The results show that women attach more importance to the caring they feel in the process of travel than men, and no significant difference exists in travel satisfaction between passengers with private cars and those without private cars (p > 0.05). Older passengers report more satisfaction than younger passengers. Additionally, for passengers with high education and high income, satisfaction is lower in terms of safety, convenience, and comfort and caring. There are also significant differences in the safety, convenience, comfort, and caring experienced across different occupational groups. These research results provide a theoretical basis for understanding how passengers with different backgrounds perceive the operational services of an urban rail transit with regard to service defects, the weaknesses in the operation process, and passenger satisfaction.

Compared with developed countries, the research on modern urban renewal in China is relatively late. However, with the landing of more and more projects in recent years, since Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other places took the lead in urban renewal, urban renewal has gradually entered a period of market-oriented and diversified operation. In recent years, under the influence of urban renewal strategy, the construction of old residential renovation projects is in full swing. In order to reduce the risk of construction, the construction unit often selects EPC project general contracting mode as the contract form of old residential renovation projects. However, the EPC project general contracting mode not only reduces the investment risk of the construction unit, but also greatly improves the difficulty of the general contracting unit's cost management of the renovation project of the old residential area. In order to complete the renovation project of the old residential area within the range of the budget estimate approved by the government and obtain the expected social benefits, cost management has become the control point of the project management of the EPC project general contractor. Based on the perspective of the general contractor, this paper takes the renovation project of the old residential area under EPC mode as the research object, uses AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate the project cost management, analyzes the deficiencies in the actual cost management and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions.

Study on Supply Shain Financing Scheme of A Vietnamese Coffee Company in China

This paper takes G7 Coffee, a Vietnamese coffee company, as an example to design a supply chain financing scheme suitable for the company. First of all, on the basis of explaining the concept of supply chain, supply chain financing and other related concepts, supply chain management theory, supply chain financing model, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model and other theoretical foundations, based on the financing situation of a Vietnamese coffee company G7 coffee in China, combined with the financing problems of the company and the company's capital needs, The feasibility of supply chain financing of G7 Coffee in China for a Vietnamese coffee company is proposed. Secondly, this paper introduces the evaluation method of supply chain financing scheme of G7 Coffee in China of a Vietnamese coffee company. Finally, on the basis of clear objectives and principles of financing scheme design, an evaluation system of supply chain financing mode of a Vietnamese coffee company based on AHP is constructed. The applicability of accounts receivable supply chain financing, inventory supply chain financing and prepayment supply chain financing adopted by the company is further analyzed by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation results show that The accounts receivable financing model is the best financing model for the supply chain financing of G7 Coffee in China of a Vietnamese coffee company. In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the supply chain financing plan of a Vietnamese coffee company G7 Coffee in China, this paper proposes to strengthen the guarantee from three aspects: financial system, credit management and risk control.

Evaluation of Air Traffic Control Ability Based on Fuzzy Theory and Multiple Evaluation Model

This paper constructs the structural model of the system of air traffic controllers' comprehensive ability evaluation. The use of analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight of various indicators should have weight values. The construction of the controller comprehensive capacity assessment model, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method can be used to weigh matrix and membership matrix corresponding transformation, and then determine the comprehensive capacity of the controller to evaluate the value. In the assessment process, the advantages of various methods are combined, enabling the comprehensive evaluation of the comprehensive capacity of the controller, making the results tend to be reasonable. The research shows that the evaluation results made by this method can provide decision-making basis for aviation safety management at all levels. Multimodal Learning Engagement Assessment System: An Innovative Approach to Optimizing Learning Engagement

In the realm of global smart education, optimizing classroom learning efficiency is paramount. This study harnesses cutting-edge technology to delve into learning engagement dynamics. Leveraging the XGBoost model, 468 facial and bodily features are captured in real-time, offering insights into student behavior. The ResNet neural transformation network and PNP algorithm discern facial expressions, body movements, and head rotation angles. Through a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, proportions of these factors are delineated for objective assessment. Empirical validation involves scrutinizing final exam scores of 234 college students. Comparative analyses reveal a significant correlation between classroom participation and performance (p-value = 0.034). Results underscore the impact of real-time judgment on learning efficiency and highlight the potency of multimodal fusion in assessing engagement comprehensively. Practical application validates system effectiveness, offering insights for educational stakeholders and contributing to the evolution of smart education.

Assessing supply security risk of renewable‐dominated power system via entropy‐based analytic hierarchy method

AbstractAmid escalating geopolitical conflicts and extreme weather, the transformation to a renewable‐dominated power system faces increasing supply security risks. The current literature lacks comprehensive multidimensional assessment index systems to quantify these risks. This paper first identifies the key factors influencing supply security in renewable‐dominated power system. Subsequently, it constructs a supply security risk assessment model based on a comprehensive evaluation method combining the analytic hierarchy process method and the entropy weight method. The effectiveness of the approach is then evaluated through simulations of supply security risks across 11 provinces, including Inner Mongolia and Sichuan. Finally, the analysis of supply security risks in the Sichuan power system is conducted at different stages, focusing on changes in supply security risk levels and risk transmission mechanisms during Sichuan power crunch events in 2022. The results show that during Sichuan's 2022 high‐temperature power rationing event, the comprehensive supply security risk score of the Sichuan power system dropped from 88.7 to 76.91. This decline was mainly due to a significant reduction in hydropower output, which lowered scores of the source‐side risk and consequently increased the system's supply security risk.

Spatial Trueness Evaluation of 3D-Printed Dental Model Made of Photopolymer Resin: Use of Special Structurized Dental Model.

(1) Background: Various 3D printers are available for dental practice; however, a comprehensive accuracy evaluation method to effectively guide practitioners is lacking. This in vitro study aimed to propose an optimized method to evaluate the spatial trueness of a 3D-printed dental model made of photopolymer resin based on a special structurized dental model, and provide the preliminary evaluation results of six 3D printers. (2) Methods: A structurized dental model comprising several geometrical configurations was designed based on dental crown and arch measurement data reported in previous studies. Ninety-six feature sizes can be directly measured on this original model with minimized manual measurement errors. Six types of photo-curing 3D printers, including Objet30 Pro using the Polyjet technique, Projet 3510 HD Plus using the Multijet technique, Perfactory DDP and DLP 800d using the DLP technique, Form2 and Form3 using the SLA technique, and each printer's respective 3D-printable dental model materials, were used to fabricate one set of physical models each. Regarding the feature sizes of the simulated dental crowns and dental arches, linear measurements were recorded. The scanned digital models were compared with the design data, and 3D form errors (including overall 3D deviation; flatness, parallelism, and perpendicularity errors) were measured. (3) Results: The lowest overall 3D deviation, flatness, parallelism, and perpendicularity errors were noted for the models printed using the Objet30 Pro (overall value: 45 μm), Form3 (0.061 ± 0.019 mm), Objet30 Pro (0.138 ± 0.068°), and Projet 3510 HD Plus (0.095 ± 0.070°), respectively. In color difference maps, different deformation patterns were observed in the printed models. The feature size proved most accurate for the Objet30 Pro fabricated models (occlusal plane error: 0.02 ± 0.36%, occlusogingival direction error: -0.06 ± 0.09%). (4) Conclusions: The authors investigated a novel evaluation approach for the spatial trueness of a 3D-printed dental model made of photopolymer resin based on a structurized dental model. This method can objectively and comprehensively evaluate the spatial trueness of 3D-printed dental models and has a good repeatability and generalizability.

There are many internal and external uncertain factors such as time, individuals, coaches, etc. Applying the TOPSIS-RSR comprehensive evaluation method to football training technology will help college students with certain football skills to improve their technical level. It is concluded that for athletes whose age, sports level, training years, etc. are variable factors at different stages, the reasonable arrangement of training cycles must be fully considered.

Research on the Construction of a Higher Education Knowledge Management Model Based on the Integration of Shadow Teams

With the advancement of technology and the development of globalization, higher education institutions are facing increasingly complex knowledge management challenges. Shadow team usually refers to an informal and flexible team, where different departments or fields work together to promote knowledge exchange and integration, and stimulate innovative thinking. In order to enhance the knowledge management capabilities and competitiveness of higher education knowledge management institutions, this study will integrate shadow teams, construct a knowledge management model for higher education training enterprises, and use Analytic Hierarchy Process and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method to construct an evaluation model for knowledge management capabilities of higher education training enterprises. The research results indicate that compared with traditional knowledge management models, the knowledge management model of higher education training enterprises integrating shadow teams collects 253 and 164 pieces of intelligence information at the 60th second, respectively; When the intelligence information is 300 pieces, the effectiveness of the analysis of the two models is 87.2\% and 39.5\%, respectively. An empirical analysis was conducted on a certain postgraduate entrance examination institution, and it was found that compared to students who reviewed independently, most of the students who participated in the training had significantly higher grades than those who did not receive training. The higher education knowledge management model that integrates shadow teams has stronger knowledge management capabilities and higher competitiveness.

Rural Environmental Quality Evaluation Indicator System: Application in Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province

The evaluation of rural environmental quality plays an important role in improving farmers’ quality of life and in realizing a livable, workable, and beautiful countryside. Taking Shangluo City in Shaanxi Province as the study area, 16 indicators across five systems were selected to evaluate the rural environmental quality. The following methods were used in the evaluation: the hierarchical analysis method, the expert scoring method, and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. The results show the following: (1) The rural environmental quality assessment value of Shangluo City is adequate. (2) In the system layer, the toilet renovation and infrastructure scores were high; however, the household sewage treatment and the construction and management mechanisms need to be improved. (3) According to an IPA quadrant diagram, the importance and satisfaction values for each index varied significantly. The management of black, foul-smelling water bodies and action on environmental remediation emerged as key to improving rural environmental quality. This study can provide a reference for the comprehensive improvement of rural environmental quality in other areas of Shaanxi Province.

In order to explore new consumer demands for Chinese tea set products, propose an innovative tea set product design and evaluation method to improve the user experience and satisfaction of the produced tea sets, thereby promoting the development of the tea set market and the promotion of tea culture. Firstly, grounded theory (GT) was used to analyze interview data to extract consumer demand indicators and construct a design evaluation hierarchical model. Secondly, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) was used to calculate the weights of the indicators, determine their priority of importance, and obtain several indicators that have a greater impact on the tea set design to guide innovative design practice. Lastly, the tea set design schemes were evaluated using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to select the optimal design scheme and also to act as a guideline for further design optimization. This study explores the innovative design and evaluation method for tea set products based on GT-AHP-FCE and validates the feasibility of this approach through a practical example of tea set design inspired by "The Classic of Mountains and Seas.". It provides innovative theoretical and practical guidance for designers of subsequent tea set products and also provides a new path for the inheritance and innovation of traditional culture.

Construction of Product Appearance Kansei Evaluation Model Based on Online Reviews and FAHP: A Case Study of Household Portable Air Conditioners

Meeting the personalized needs of users is the key to achieving the sustainable success of a product. It depends not only on the product’s functionality but also on satisfying users’ emotional needs for the product’s appearance. Therefore, researchers have been conducting research focusing on Kansei engineering theory to determine users’ emotional needs effectively. The initial process involves accurately extracting and filtering emotional data and Kansei words from consumers. Thus, we propose an evaluation model to efficiently obtain, screen, and sort these Kansei words based on Kansei engineering, using household portable air conditioners as research subjects. By integrating techniques for online user comment mining methods, users’ Kansei terms related to the product’s appearance can be gathered efficiently. These terms are then combined with image samples and filtered to determine a final set of 16 Kansei word pairs. Subsequently, the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) is utilized to prioritize these terms, and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation (FCE) method is used to validate the results and determine the applicability of the evaluation model. The results showed that Kansei words could be quickly and objectively acquired using existing text mining techniques on online reviews. Moreover, the weights of different Kansei terms of the product’s appearance in the consumer’s perception are accurately produced through the FAHP. This evaluation model marks a significant advancement in accurately obtaining users’ emotional data in Kansei engineering. It offers valuable guidance for designing products that meet users’ personalized needs, enhancing design efficiency and reducing resource wastage at the early stages of designing, and improving the sustainability development of Kansei engineering.
